Styling advice: Fixing fine hair that doesn't hold its style

Styling advice: Fixing fine hair that doesn't hold its style

14 MAY 2008

If your hair is naturally fine and you find it doesn't hold its style for long after blowdrying, turn down the speed and the heat on your hairdryer. A high speed and heat blast the hair and don’t give it time to set into shape.

Dry more slowly, leaving hair to cool around a brush or roller if you use them before removing them from the hair, and you should find your style keeps its body until the next wash. Always use a volumising spray and styling spray to give hair a bit of oomph first.
