Mischa's hairdresser has revealed he uses a thickening cream to give her hair a boost. The star's wavy tresses are on top form in a new ad campaign for her new handbag range
The new designs feature totes, oversized slouch bags, purses and clutches with plenty of detail
She may have left Orange County behind, but Mischa Barton’s career in handbags is forging ahead as she launches the autumn/winter collection with a set of sultry poses showing off her laidback, boho style to perfection.
Hairdresser Phil Smith has worked with Mischa and says she “likes a bit of a wave” through her hair, which is easily created by working in inch-wide squares of hair, twisting straightening irons quickly through in a circular motion from the scalp to the ends.
Phil says the secret product that enhances the texture of hair when it has movement running through it is thickening cream, applied to towel-dried hair – there’s one in Phil’s Extreme Style range, available from Sainsbury’s, which he used on Mischa.
Featuring totes, oversized slouch bags, purses and clutches with plenty of detail – zips, tasses, buckles and studs - Mischa’s handbag range is available now from independent shops and her website.
