Mariah Carey and Penelope Cruz - pictured - proved asymmetric styles are back with hair dressed in a magnificently sideswept shape
We highlighted here last week the asymmetric effect at the Golden Globes where there were lots of side partings, sideswept fringes and hair tucked behind one ear.
And as if to prove our point, two of the big hitters of Hollywood arrived at the Screen Actors Guild Awards firmly committing themselves to the sideshow style.
Mariah Carey and Penelope Cruz both wore their hair long and wavy, which was all very Veronica Lake, but with one side from a side parting pinned sleekly back behind one ear while the other side of the parting flowed magnificently over one shoulder.
Proving you can have the best of both worlds...
