It looks like reality TV queen Kim Kardashian has followed in the stylish footsteps of our very own Kate Middleton after revamping her hairstyle and chopping her long locks into a fringe.
The 32-year-old, who doesn't tend to play around with her hair very often, is known for her long, glossy brunette locks that fall into gentle waves from a middle parting. But Kim stunned onlookers when she revealed her new 'do on Wednesday.

The star caused quite the frenzy as she made her way through Los Angeles International Airport, with flashbulbs blazing as the waiting photographers fought to get a photograph of her bangs.
On Tuesday, she had shared a photo collage of the hairdressing process with her fans on Twitter via Instagram, showing her in the capable hands of hair stylist to the stars Chris McMillan. "Fun shoot today @chrismcmillan. He just can't control his scissor hands! #bangs," she wrote in the accompanying caption.
Her style is reminiscent of the expectant Duchess of Cambridge's side-swept fringe that had the world talking when she debuted it last month.
Kate appeared to paying homage to the 70s with a heavily parted fringe and more layers cut into her hair. Her famous glossy mane – which has remained largely unchanged for years – also appeared to be a shade darker.
The new style is believed to have been created by her favourite hairdresser, Richard Ward, who has a salon off Sloane Square and has styled the royal's hair for many years. 2012 has already been hailed by many as the year of the bang with stars including Beyonce, Nicole Kidman and Rachel McAdams all taking the plunge.
Meanwhile, Kim has been in the news for other reasons this week. The star has joined thousands of other users planning to delete their Instagram accounts after claims the company would start using individuals' photos in advertisements following a policy change.
The star tweeted: "I really loved Instagram :-( I need to review this new policy. I don't think its fair." Her model sister Kendall added: "might be saying bye bye to Instagram...hope something changes."
X Factor host and Kim's sister Khloe agreed. "Wow…I just read over Instagram’s new policy...so sad, looks like I might be deleting my instagram after Jan 16. I hope something changes," wrote the star, referring to the date the new terms are scheduled to take effect.
The famous sisters might not be deleting their accounts after all, however, after the company has denied they intend to sell pictures posted by users, celebrity or otherwise. Co-founder Kevin Systrom wrote in a blog that "confusing" language was to blame.
"To be clear: it is not our intention to sell your photos. We are working on updated language in the terms to make sure this is clear," he wrote, adding that the new terms were part of plans the app has to "experiment with innovative advertising".
