Kim Sears wins best hair at Wimbledon

28 JUNE 2013

It’s game, set and match for Andy Murray’s girlfriend Kim Sears who has been named as the Wimbledon WAG with the best hair.

The 25-year-old won the title from hair care brand Fabriah.com, who asked 720 women to select the tennis WAG whose hair they most admired.

Stylish Kim walked away with over a fifth of the vote, 21 percent, with respondents saying they loved her causal yet well-groomed look

Taking second place was Maria Perello with 16 percent, the partner of former champion Rafael Nadal. She was praised for her long, curly locks and natural beauty.

Jelena Ristic, the girlfriend of number one seed Novak Djokovic, came in at third with 15 percent followed by Sara Foster, actress and wife of Tommy Haas with 13 percent of the vote.

One respondent said, "We see a lot of Kim Sears now Andy Murray is on top form, and I love her style. She looks so relaxed and natural, not primped and preened like the footballing WAGS. She genuinely looks like the kind of person I’d love to have a good gossip with – and her style is just perfect for Centre Court."

Another added, "Maria Perello is so beautiful and has natural charm and style. I love her hair – every time I see a picture or see her on telly I get hair envy! If only my long hair was a curly and shiny as hers."

Spokeswoman for Fabriah.com, Francesca Davies said, "Kim Sears has rightly been crowned as the top Wimbledon WAG with the best hair. She always looks so effortlessly gorgeous and her hair is so healthy, bouncy and shiny.

"The tennis wives and girlfriends always look immaculate and bearing in mind they can sit around a tennis court for hours, their hair looks amazing. Most of us I’m sure would end up with a frizzy mop after a mix of rain, sunshine and more rain."
