It's no surprise that A-list actress Jennifer bagged the second spot on the list, compiled by haircare brand Fabriah.com. The choppy, layered hairstyle she sported during her time in Friends was widely copied and nicknamed 'The Rachel'.
More unlikely candidates in the form of TOWIE stars Lucy Mecklenburgh and Sam Faiers made the cut, while cartoon character Marg Simpson made a surprise appearance.
Marilyn Monroe took the top spot. "In Hollywood a girl's virtue is much less important than her hair 'do," the late star once said, and her blonde hair certainly made an impact, inspiring imitators the world over.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who came in at number 14, is known for her glossy brunette locks and her signature 'Chelsea blowdry'.
She wasn't the only royal on the list – the Queen and Princess Diana of Wales all featured.
