Brad Pitt debuted a new look as he stepped onto the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet on Saturday night.
The movie star, who recently celebrated his 50th birthday, had shaved off his signature beard and the sides of his head.
"It's for a part," Brad told a reporter on the red carpet. "It's not a choice!" He revealed that his new look was for upcoming war drama Fury, in which he plays an army sergeant.
Angelina Jolie's husband is no stranger to changing up his hairstyle. He has sported many different looks over the years including a ponytail, bleached blonde locks, a shoulder length style and a spiked 'do.
Speaking about the film 12 Years A Slave, which he starred and helped produce, Brad said, "It's great. It also ensures that more people are going to see it. And in my mind this is a film that only comes along once in a decade and everyone should see this."
He added, "It's that good. It's moving. It's inspirational. It's why I wanted to go into film in the first place."
