Supermodel Gisele Bündchen is known for her stunning hair, but surprised fans when she sported a buzz cut in a new campaign for fashion house Balenciaga.
The mother-of-two looks virtually unrecognisable in the black-and-white campaign images with her new short hair slicked to the side, as she poses alongside shattered mirrors.
Gisele walked for Balenciaga at Paris Fashion Week in February so her appearance in the campaign didn't come as a surprise, however fans have been left speculating as to whether the Brazilian model has shaved her head for campaign, or whether her hair has simply been cleverly styled.
"This is how I see Gisele for Balenciaga," said artistic director Alexander Wang to WWD. "Strong, powerful, mysterious and uncompromising".
Gisele has recently unveiled as the new face of Chanel No.5 perfume, taking over from Brad Pitt to front the iconic brand's new campaign. She has reportedly been filming the advert with director Baz Luhrmann in Sagaponack, New York.
Previous ambassadors for the brand include Nicole Kidman, Vanessa Paradis, Catherine Deneuve and Audrey Tatou.
Last year, it was revealed that Gisele was the world's highest-paid model for the seventh consecutive year by Forbes, having earned $42million in the business year.
