Kim Kardashian has revealed the secret to her boxer braids

The Keeping up with the Kardashians star turned to celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan to help her achieve her edgy look. Justine revealed that, once she has braided Kim's hair, she ensures the partings appear flawless by adding a touch of root concealer to straighten the line – often using Colour Wow Root Concealer to give the illusion of thicker hair.

The full clip also sees a step-by-step peek at how Justine creates the full braided style. She starts by dividing Kim's long black locks into four sections, clipping each into place, and then begins to plait – adding loose extensions to add volume. Once she has finished braiding, she turned the two sections into one pigtail on the left, before repeating the same on the right hand side of Kim's head.

The reality TV queen is no stranger to turning heads with her bold beauty looks. All eyes were on Kim when she arrived for husband Kanye West's show during New York Fashion Week, where she rocked long poker straight hair that fell down to her stomach.

Sharing a photo of her look with her 62.1 million followers, Kim confessed she turned to wig makers Tokyo for the showstopping style – the same company used by her younger sibling Kylie Jenner.

It was Kylie who first "discovered" Tokyo, and revealed she had been turning to him to create her infamous makeovers. "Wigs are just SO much easier because I change my mind so much and this way I'm not damaging my hair," she explained in a post on her website.
