Georgia May Foote shocked her fans with a drastic makeover on Monday night. The 25-year-old was virtually unrecognisable as she debuted a new eye-catching platinum blonde hairstyle, a stark contrast to her trademark dark chocolate brown tresses.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star took to Instagram to unveil her new look, channelling Marilyn Monroe with her hair worn in voluminous curls, which she complemented with a hint of black eyeliner and matte red lips. "Oh hey blondie…" she wrote in the striking snap's accompanying caption.
Compliments from fans immediately began pouring in, as they praised the star for being brave and rocking such a bold change. However, others were more sceptical and have speculated that her new 'do could in fact be a wig.

Having recently announced that she will be starring in the play Breakfast at Tiffany's as Holly Golightly, a role previously played by Pixie Lott, it could be that Georgia was just playing around with various props during a rehearsal, however the star has yet to confirm whether her new 'do is permanent.
It's no doubt been an emotional few weeks for the former Coronation Street star, who announced earlier this year that she and boyfriend Giovanni Pernice decided to call time on their relationship. The couple, who met on Strictly Come Dancing last year parted on good terms, revealing that they planned "to be friends".
Tweeting out a statement which was then retweeted by Giovanni, Georgia wrote: "It is with great sadness we have decided to split up. There is nobody else involved. Although it was not an easy decision to make sometimes you realise that it is better to be friends and this is one of those times.

"We both have very busy work schedules for the rest of the year so we are both going to focus on our upcoming work projects and we wish each other well for the future."
With Giovanni returning to the dancing competition this year, Georgia has since tweeted her support for the dancer as well as his celebrity partner Laura Whitmore. She also took the time to address rumours that she had been concerned they might strike up a new romance on the show.
"Good luck to all the @bbastrictly 2016 cast and crew on their launch show tonight! Sending all my love! I'm sure it's going to be incredible," she wrote. "And I would just like to wish @thewhitmore and @pernicegiovann1 good luck. Please don't believe the c*** you read. She's a beautiful person."
