Make-up and outfits can be used to make us feel more confident, but so can hair colour. There are a host of hair dyes on the market that can liven up your look and are perfect to try out if you're planning on hitting any festivals this year. And if you're afraid to go too bold with a hue, give pastel shades a go.

Pastel hair

Pastel colours were huge on the catwalks this season

“Spring/Summer 2017 is set to see pastel hair colours bloom,” the team at Crazy Color® told Cover Media. “Pale shades of pink, blue and lilac were huge on the catwalk at London Fashion Week and the trend isn't going anywhere. Using pastels is a softer way to stay on trend with brightly coloured hair this season.”

Ashley Benson recently opted for a pink ombre on her tresses, which worked really well with her blonde hair, and who can forget Helen Mirren's take on the trend? If you're a pink girl, then try Crazy Color® Marshmallow, a lilac-y pink or Crazy Color® Candyfloss, a pale pink. And why not try mixing them together? This means you are getting an entirely unique look which is sure to leave your friends green with envy.

If you want an edgier look then give blue a go. Blues in a pastel shade are soft as well as edgy, and tend to work well on all natural hair colours. The go to shade to achieve this look at home is Crazy Color® Bubblegum Blue, but there are also a huge variety of other tones in the blue range. Demi Lovato and Katy Perry are among the stars who have tried out the blue hair look, while Kylie Jenner showed us that blue hair also looks great with a stretched or darker toned root.

Schwarzkopf, Scott Cornwall and popstar Pixie Lott I also have on-trend hair colour offerings.

Once you've got your locks the shade you want, try a fishtail or French braid to perfectly show it off. Add some denim shorts and a hat and you're all set for the festival season.
