by We've all – hopefully – learned enough about the risks of skin cancer and premature visible ageing to be able to practice 'safe sun' (you only have to look at pearly skinned Nicole Kidman to see how staying out of the sun keeps skin looking smooth). But there is now concern that Brits are hiding to the point that we're failing to make enough vitamin D, of which sunlight is a natural source. So ten-to-15 minutes spent in the sunshine when possible – except between the most intense hours of 11am and 3pm – is now recommended
