Stars come out to play with makeup guru

Even A-listers need a little help…

by They may be genetically blessed, but even A-listers like to find out how they can make improvements, as the launch party for the Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual proved.

Yasmin and Amber Le Bon, Tamara Mellon, Kelly Hoppen, Melissa Odabash, Konnie Huq and trio of friends Angela Griffin, Nicola Stephenson and Lisa Faulkner were among those who attended the bash, where they enjoyed makeovers and lessons from Bobbi's experts.

"I wanted this book to serve as a complete reference guide for everyone who wants to know about beauty and makeup – it's filled with step-by-step lessons, industry tips and beautiful pictures," said Bobbi.

Designed 'for everyone from beginner to pro', the book distils Bobbi's 25 years of experience into one complete volume, with more than 200 colour photos and tutorials that include a 'Ten Step Guide to Perfect Makeup' that teaches readers how to apply their makeup in less than ten minutes.

And it appeals to professionals, too, with advice on breaking into the beauty business and working with photographers and the Press as well as celebrity clients.

It's available now, price £20, from Bobbi Brown counters or online at
