Pregnant Halle Berry crowned 'most glowing' celebrity mum ahead of Kate Middleton
30 MAY 2013
In this the year of celebrity pregnancies, one expectant star stands radiant above all others — Halle Berry has beaten the likes of Kate Middleton and Frankie Sandford to be named the most glowing celebrity mum-to-be.
Proving age is just a number, the Hollywood actress, 46, took the top spot in a poll to find out which celeb the British public thought had the best pregnancy glow.
Already a mum to five-year-old Nahla, Halle is pregnant with her second child with her French fiancé Olivier Martinez, 47. The new arrival is expected in the autumn.
Halle received 73 per cent in the poll, which surveyed 1,487 Britons aged 18 and over across the UK. The Duchess of Cambridge, 31, who will welcome her first baby with husband Prince William in July, was close behind with 65 per cent.
First-time mums Kim Kardashian, 32, and Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, 38, sat at fifth and sixth place, while the other ladies named in the top ten were Channing Tatum's wife Jenna Dewan, Michael Buble's leading lady Luisana Lopilato, Glee's Heather Morris and Jessica Simpson.
"Halle Berry might not be the youngest mum-to-be of the group, but she still managed to steal the top spot from Kate Middleton and Frankie Sandford," said Mark Pearson, chairman of MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, the website which conducted the survey.
"Many celebrities look great during pregnancy, but it has to be remembered that they might look entirely different without stylists and personal make-up artists.
"Each of the mums-to-be look healthy and like they're really enjoying their pregnancies, something that I think is a big contributing factor to that pregnancy 'glow' we hear so much about."
