Amid the rumours that she and her husband Abhishek Bachchan are trying for a second child, the former Miss World winner decided to set the record straight.
"I know what you are trying to ask," said Aishwarya, when she was asked if she would opt for stem cell banking for a second time. "Whenever such a moment comes, you all will get to know. But please don't speculate till then."
"Change is constant in life. Every experience contributes to change and growth, making you hopefully a better human being. Becoming a mother has been a blessing and I cherish this gift from God," said Aishwarya.
The Bride and Prejudice star then went on to speak praise of her daughter Aaradhya, who she said never leaves her side.
"Aaradhya is a wonderful blessing in our lives and she is very special and it is a loving fulfilment. I am grateful for this experience," she said.
The doting mother was speaking at a stem cell banking event and urged friends and families to consider giving expecting parents the gift of stem cell preservation. When Aishwarya's daughter was born, the Bollywood star and her husband opted to do just that.
"I had always banked that thought even before I got married," said the actress. "At that point of time we were contacted by a lot of companies and closer to the date we interacted extensively with Life Cell. Once we were convinced, we went ahead with the decision to bank with Life Cell."
