Thandie Newton gave birth to her third child on the floor of a bathroom.
The actress has two older daughters, Ripley born in 2000 and Nico born in 2004, and spoke on America's Today Show about 11-week-old Booker.
Speaking of her three home births, Thandie said: "I had all three babies at home - he was born on the bathroom floor.
"I'd never been in hospital as a child or as an adult and I associated hospital with being ill", Thandie said of her decision to home birth.

She continued: "I felt beautiful and healthy and wonderful when I was pregnant and being at home was the place I felt most comfortable."
The 41-year-old, who starred in the Oscar-winning film Crash, gave birth to Booker in early March and shared the happy news on Twitter.
"Our baby boy is finally here! Booker Jombe Parker. Born joyously at home yesterday." she tweeted.
Speaking on The Today Show this Thursday, Thandie also spoke about her midwife and home births.

"I met a great midwife and she's been there for all three of the births so for me it felt normal. But there was a time when everybody had their babies at home, it wasn't such a big deal.
"It's more about as a woman, what do you feel most comfortable doing, and I made the choice to be at home." she added.
Thandie has previously praised her midwives, tweeting at the time of Booker's birth: "My 3rd home birth with brilliant independent midwife Caroline Flint - and Carole Godard @phoenixmidwives. Keep independent midwifery alive!"
Thandie also joked that her son had three mothers because of the help she gets with him.
"I think he thinks he has three mummies! He's got a 13-year-old, a nine-year-old and a 27-year-old", she laughed, making a joke about her children and her age.
