Almost as soon as the happy news is confirmed that a new baby is going to be joining the family, thoughts turn to the nursery. Sometimes, it only takes a little thought and effort to make the baby's room as welcoming as the one in the following pictures.
Canadian photographer Sarah Mavro recorded how she managed to transform an old sewing room into a nursery. She also documented her pregnancy, from her blossoming bump to mum with baby in her arms.
The cosy nursery space includes a cot, a small sofa and a vintage teak dresser instead of a cabinet, plus a quirky hexagonal shelf with enough room for some toys and books, and a hanging bird mobile made out of wood.
The details include cute bees on the wall, the comfy black and white baby blanket with pine tree motifs, a few shelves made out of books themselves - a very popular do-it-yourself - and cuddly crochet toys.
However some of the cutest pictures of the new room include the new addition to the family, Casper Bear.
