"Mason ran in here with the blue stick," Kourtney was seen telling her younger sister Khloé Kardashian. "There was a red star or a blue star."

"I wanted a girl," admitted Mason, until Khloé – or Auntie KoKo as she is affectionately called – helped sway his attitude.

"Girls don't like aliens and Lego guys," Khloé told the adorable youngster. "When you have a brother you can say 'Look at all my Lego guys, brother.' You get to be rough and you can boss him around because you're the older one."

Khloé then turned to Scott Disick, Kourtney's long-term partner and father of her kids, and asked if he was excited about the upcoming arrival of his third baby.

"No, I'm fine now! I'm excited!" assured Scott, who had previously shown less enthusiasm when he discovered Kourtney was pregnant.

The fashion designer is expected to give birth during the festive season, possibly near Mason's mid-December birthday. She has previously spoken about how she "loves being pregnant".

"I find a pregnant body to be beautiful and an incredible reminder of what a woman's body is made to do," Kourtney told Fit Pregnancy magazine.

The star also shared that she plans to take time out of her demanding work schedule in order to concentrate on her new baby and other two children.

"I love doing everything myself at the beginning," she said. "I'm not getting a baby nurse. I take two months off and no one is allowed to bother me or talk to me about anything work-related – or maybe three months this time."
