Pregnant Keira Knightley looked blooming beautiful as she showed off her blossoming figure in a pretty red empire line dress on Monday. The actress was attending an event in Los Angeles with Benedict Cumberbatch, her co-star from The Imitation Game.

Keira Knightley is glowing with health as she enters the third trimester

The two friends had a lot to catch up on. Top of the list was probably the actor's wildly romantic Valentine's wedding with theatre director Sophie Hunter. Like Keira, she is also expecting so the duo may have swapped information on how the respective pregnancies are going.

Keira has been looking fantastic, wearing a series of floaty dresses to promote their film in awards season. She does have one complaint, however. Not being able to drink alcohol has proved tiresome, especially given all the hospitality at red carpet affairs. "I can't drink. I'm up for an Oscar and I can't drink at the Oscars," she lamented. "I went to the doctor - you have to get lots of doctor check ups when your pregnant - and she asked if I had any questions. And I said 'Yes! When can I drink!? Please! I just want a margarita'."

Her co-star Benedict Cumberbatch's new wife is also pregnant

Luckily, her husband musician James Righton has been taking full advantage.

"My husband's having a great time. I'm eating for two and he's drinking for two," she said. "There's a lot of free champagne so he thinks because I'm not drinking the free champagne he has to. So all of it."

Keira Knightley and Benedict Cumberbatch have been friends for years

Asked about her birthing plan, down-to-earth Keira deadpanned: "To get it out."

Keira and James' wedding in May 2013 was a low-key affair in France. The bride wore a tulle Rodarte dress for her big day. The actress was spotted recycling her Rodarte number months later. "Every time I've worn that dress, I've had a fantastic night and if you've got a dress where you've always had a fantastic night, it's worth having another fantastic night in it".
