Congratulations to funny couple Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen who are now the proud parents of three children. The Australian actress gave birth to their third child on Friday 10 April, with the newest arrival a sibling for their little girls, seven-year-old Olive and Elula, four.

Us Weekly confirmed the news, and revealed that the birth came just one day after the pair were spotted dining with friends at a private party in Los Angeles.

As a mother, Isla has tried to scale back filming commitments so that she can concentrate on her children. "Family is 100 per cent my top priority. So I'm much more comfortable doing supporting roles right now. And often they're the most interesting. You get to be a character actress."

In the run up to the birth the 39-year-old mother-of-three kept up with her fitness regime, hiking in the last few weeks. She also accompanied by her comedy star husband to the Oscars parties, where Jennifer Aniston was spotted kissing her bump.

Isla suffers from quite bad morning sickness as she explained ahead of her third pregnancy. "I had severe morning sickness (the last times)," she said. "So I mostly ate supersize bowls of white pasta with loads of butter and cheese because that was the only thing that took away the nausea."

The Australian actress, no doubt, regards it as a small price to pay for having a family. Isla has previously described marriage to Sacha, 43, as "like winning the lottery".

"Choosing to be together every day is incredibly romantic. I love marriage. I think it's a wonderful institution and it's the most important decision you make.

"Life is filled with highs and lows, and you have a best friend to share it with you. It's amazing. It's like winning the lottery, having a good partner."
