Howard Donald is about to become a father again! The Take That star, 48, revealed on Monday that his wife Katie Halil is pregnant – just 10 months after she gave birth to the couple's first child. "Guess what? Me and Katie are happy to announce we will have our 2nd child in Feb. Yay! No more sleep for another 2 years!" he happily told fans.

Howard and illustrator Katie tied the knot in a private ceremony for close friends and family on 2 January 2015, and welcomed their son Bowie Taylan Donald almost exactly a year later, on 12 January 2016.

Bowie was named in honour of the iconic singer David Bowie, who passed away from cancer two days before the baby was born. Howard tweeted at the time: "Bowie Taylan Donald came into world on Tues 12th Jan. Mummy and daddy suffering sleep deprivation but life is wonderful, he is divine."

The new arrival will be Howard's fourth child; he has two daughters, Grace, 17, and 11-year-old Lola from past relationships.

Howard's baby news coincidentally came on the same day that another Brit pop star, Geri Horner, announced that she was expecting her second child.

The 44-year-old former Spice Girl took to Instagram to share her happy news, borrowing a line from her song It's Raining Men. "God bless Mother Nature #mamaspice," she wrote alongside a sketch of a heavily pregnant woman.

A spokesperson for Geri and her husband Christian Horner said in a statement: "Geri and Christian are absolutely delighted to announce they are expecting their first child together. The couple are overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family."
