The cat's officially out of the bag! Nick Cannon has confirmed that baby number three is on the way. During an appearance on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club on Thursday, the ex-husband of Mariah Carey revealed that he and former beauty queen Brittany Bell are expecting a child together.

"I've got a baby on the way," he told the radio hosts after praising Britany - who he is not in a relationship with - and called her a "special young lady".

"I don't have any exes. Mariah is my last ex," he continued. "Everybody else is just people that I know, love and care for. [Bell] is not my ex!"

Nick, 36, and Mariah, 46, share five-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan. The former couple announced their split in 2014, but their divorce was finalised earlier this year.

When quizzed about the singer's relationship woes with Australian billionaire James Packer, presenter Nick revealed he had no idea the pair had reportedly separated.

"Is she [single now]? You know better than me!" he said. "I thought they were working it out… I'm on a need to know basis. As long as my kids are good, I see them on weekends… I don't want to know none of that other stuff. If it gets to that point [of marriage], like, we had those conversations, but after that, I don't really need to be involved in it."

Despite their divorce, Nick and Mariah have remained on good terms and make sure their children always come top of the priority list.

"We'll always be a family," the America's Got Talent host said on the Ellen DeGeneres show last year. "We make the kids the number one priority, for them to see their parents together and for everybody to get along and have a good time."
