How time flies! Kristina Rihanoff is preparing to celebrate her daughter's first birthday, and in her latest HELLO! Online blog post, the ex-Strictly Come Dancing star has opened up about her and her partner Ben Cohen's little girl. "Mila's first birthday is coming up in June," said Kristina in a video. "I can't believe it, time has flown so fast, it's just crazy. She's just totally amazing. Every day there's something new about her. She's trying to stand up now, and walk desperately, she's crawling all around the house; we've babyproofed the house.

Kristina reveals romantic surprise from Ben

"I have to think about what I'm going to do for her in June. More than anything I want to have my family around me and my mum will be coming, she already bought her ticket to fly from Russia. It will be a lovely family affair as always and hopefully Mila will get lots of toys and beautiful outfits!"

Kristina Rihanoff says Mila is "desperate" to start walking

Kristina, 39, added that her ten-month-old is "the best thing in my life, my pride and joy". She said: "Mila is standing up, holding onto chairs, she's like a little fireball going around and grabbing everything. You have to watch, watch and watch what she does every second but it's amazing to see her grow, to develop her little character."

Kristina opens up about first Mother's Day

Kristina, her partner Ben, 38, and little Mila have just returned from a family holiday to Tenerife. The trio were joined by Ben's twin daughters and other relatives. Speaking about the holiday, Kristina said: "Mila really enjoyed the trip. She loved the sea, she loved the sun and it was a lovely family vacation together.

The dancer and Ben Cohen welcomed their daughter last June

"The flight however was much more difficult. Before when we had a long flight to Los Angeles, Mila was four months old so she was eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping, nothing else. Right now, she wants to interact and it's a long flight to Tenerife, four hours. So yes it was a little bit more challenging than before because you have to interact with her constantly, make sure she plays with lots of toys, feed her on the plane as well. But it all worked out in the end and of course as a new mum, I'm learning a lot!"
