Heidi Montag has revealed how her secret wish has come true - she is having a baby boy! The 30-year-old, who is expecting her first child with husband Spencer Pratt, shared her delight as she recalled the moment she found out the gender in a new interview with Us Weekly. "I ran into the room and said, 'It's the doctor's office!' The doctor said, 'It's a boy!' I started screaming," she admitted. "It was in my heart to have a boy. I thought Spencer really used to want a boy, and then a few months ago we had a conversation where he said, 'Let's just make sure it's healthy. Boy or girl, I don't care.'"

The former Celebrity Big Brother star - who met Spencer during the filming of MTV's hit reality show, The Hills - went on to explain how she would love to expand her family. "I hope to have a little girl one day, but for my first child, I really wanted a son," she explained. "I'm hoping to God that we don't just have one, but if we do, I wanted a son. I thought it'd be a more natural bond for Spencer since he and his dad are so close."

Last month, Heidi and Spencer shared their happy news with Us Weekly, confirming that their baby is due 19 October. Spencer - who has been married to Heidi since 2009 - spoke of the moment he first found out he was going to be a father. He recalled waking up at their Santa Barbara beach house to see his wife standing over him. "The look on her face, I can't even describe it," the 33-year-old reality star said. "She was literally glowing. I thought she was going to say she made muffins or banana bread. Heidi said, 'I'm pregnant'. I was like, 'Whoa, that's way more exciting than banana bread!'" Heidi, meanwhile, said she felt totally "overwhelmed" after telling her husband, adding: "I started crying and he embraced me."
