So far, fans have only been given a glimpse of baby Bear Payne, Cheryl and Liam Payne's seven-week-old son. But proud dad Liam gave an indication of what the little boy looks like during a meet and greet with fans in Chicago this week. Speaking at a small gathering during a visit to B96 Radio, the 23-year-old opened up about little Bear’s features, and revealed how the couple came to choose his unusual name. Posting on Twitter following the event, one excited fan relayed some of Liam's responses. "Omg, I just met Liam!!!!," she tweeted. "Liam also said Bear was a mini version of him with Cheryl's eyes."

The excited fan later returned to Twitter, writing: "Wait ya'll I just remembered that Liam talked about naming the baby Bear!!! He said that he's really into traditional names and Cheryl is really into outlandish unique names. But he didn't even fight about it because Cheryl was the one doing all the work," she tweeted, adding a crying laughing emoji.
Liam and Cheryl welcomed their baby boy on 22 March
Liam and Cheryl have kept Bear out of the spotlight since his arrival on 22 March. The couple announced their birth of their first baby by sharing a sweet photo of Liam holding the newborn in his arms, but since then, they have chosen not to post any more photos.
Liam, meanwhile, has been busy promoting his new music in recent weeks, and on Thursday confirmed his debut solo single. The star posted a preview video of the new song on Instagram, telling fans: "Mad excited to announce my new single Strip That Down ft @quavonhuncho out May 19."
