Usher reveals his romantic side

R&B singer extends his perfumed portfolio

by As he approaches his 30th birthday after years marked by "lots of emotional changes", Usher continues to increase his profile by adding a new fragrance duo to his existing Usher He and She perfume portfolio.

Following on from the release of his new album, Here To Stand, Usher's UR For Men and UR For Women capture the R&B star's romantic side.

UR For Men, from £29.50, is a fresh, energetic scent with a sea breeze accord combined with crisp fruits to create a 'sparkle' when it hits the nose.

The heart contains notes of nutmeg, Thai basil, bay oil and Artemisia with depth created by guaiac wood, cashmere wood and sandalwood.

In addition to the eau de toilette, there's an After Shave Tonic, £25, for a quick and easy hit of the fragrance and an alcohol-free Deodorant, £10.50, containing lavender leaf extract for freshness.

UR For Women, from £32, is a blooming fruity floral that opens with peach nectar and white freesia, softening into a heart of osmanthus, jasmine, honeysuckle and pink peonies and a dry-down of soft woods, creamy musks and praline. There's a Body Lotion, £21, to go with it, too.

"Similar to my latest album, I wanted a fragrance that really evokes who I am and how I've evolved," Usher comments.

Available from Boots, Superdrug, Debenhams and other department stores.
