The event was held at Die Munze, one of the oldest mints in Germany, and attracted 60 models from around the world. Among them was Calvin Klein's current "global advertising talent": Twilight's Kellan Lutz - who is featured in the current Calvin Klein X Underwear ad campaign – as well as actress Zoe Saldana, who has just been announced as the face of the brand’s women’s underwear.
Also there was Lara Stone – David Walliams' new wife – who will appear in the autumn campaigns for ck and Calvin Klein Collection and Jeans; and, of course, Ms Kruger, the face of the new fragrance, Beauty, which is due to launch next month.
Surprisingly, Beauty is the first new women's scent to be introduced by the brand in five years and has been positioned as the most prestigious fragrance in its portfolio. It's a "new interpretation" of a lily as the essence of femininity, with ambrette seeds to enhance spicy warmth, jasmine to elevate the floral signature and a trail of cedarwood for the drydown.
Available only in a parfum spray, from £34, with a matching bath crème and body lotion, it will be available nationwide from August 25.
