Rooney Mara has landed her first beauty campaign with Calvin Klein fragrances and the two couldn't be more suited.
The effortlessly cool actress, who recently starred in Side Effects alongside Jude Law, has been unveiled as the face of the contemporary beauty brand's newest fragrance, Downtown.
The actress, 28, who has already stunned fans with her modelling style as the cover face of Vogue in February, has said that she's thrilled with her first beauty deal.
"I am very excited to be included in the group of amazing women that have been featured in the iconic advertising campaigns for Calvin Klein fragrances," said Rooney.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo actress is set to join Calvin Klein's other leading ladies who include the stunning Georgia May Jagger, Christy Turlington and fellow actress Eva Mendes.
Rooney was already said to have been the beauty inspiration of Calvin's collection of catwalk looks in the Autumn/Winter 2012/13 of last year.
Shot by photographer, Jean-Baptiste Mondino, the print advertisments of the campaign show the petite-featured brunette beauty posing subtly against the brick walls of a New York alley wearing a sultry smokey eye and defined eyebrows.
"It's an honour to be part of a brand with such a legacy of breakthrough advertising," Rooney added, alluding to the brand's understated urban image. "The Downtown fragrance holds true to the chic, confident and simple feeling of the Calvin brand."
Named after New York's trendy downtown district, the perfume is said to have heady scents of Italian cedrat, bergamot, Tunisian neroli and musky notes of peppercorn, gardenia pettels and cedarwood. The scent of the new product is anticipated to rival Calvin Kleins top selling woman's fragrance, Euphoria.
Calvin Klein's Downtown eau de parfum will launch in July.
