Strictly Come Dancing's Georgia May Foote swapped glitterball for glamorous glow at Sunday night's House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards. In an exclusive interview in this week's HELLO! she talks of how Strictly changed her life, the glamour of the red carpet, and her love for her former Strictly dance partner and now boyfriend Giovanni Pernice.

Her red carpet glow was achieved with the help of St Tropez Tanning and Skin Finishing Expert Jules Heptonstall who shares a step-by-step guide below.

Step One:

Always exfoliate before using self tan because it leaves a beautiful, even skin surface.

Step Two:

Use Self Tanning Luxe Facial Oil the night before.

Step Three:

To recreate Georgia's deep tan use two generous coats of St Tropez Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse. Apply in sweeping motions with a mitt. If you are doing this at home I always say to imagine that you are frosting a cake and spread the tan on very evenly. In terms of streaks, if you see brown lines on your body, it means you’ve overlapped a coat, if you see white lines it means you've got a streak.

Step Four:

To finish use lashings of moisturiser, any aloe vera based moisturiser is good.

Top Tip: Keep a pack of wipes in the fridge and run it all over the body and it will close all your pores for your tan.

St. Tropez Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse RRP £21/120ml and Self Tan Luxe Facial Oil RRP £23/30ml are both available at Boots nationwide, boots.com and sttropeztan.com.
