Lauren Murphy shared her top skincare tips

  • Drink water: I know it sounds boring but it is the easiest step we can all take to healthier skin! It helps flush out the toxins that cause irritation and rehydrates the skin which is key to getting that healthy glow.
  • Cleanse: Always remove your make-up before bed, cleansing the skin is so important, make-up dries out the skin and lashes and clogs pores if left on overnight, which will irritate the skin. Skin cell repair happens whilst we sleep so give it a helping hand by applying a night serum packed full of antioxidants and a hydrating overnight facemask to cleansed skin before going to sleep.

STORY: How to revive tired skin

  • Exfloiate: One to two times a week, gentle exfoliation lifts the dead skin cells which if left make your skin look dull, the removal of dead skin allows you to rehydrate your skin and absorb the benefits of your serum and moisturiser. < > Wear this daily, Nivea's Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream has SPF 15 so it helps to protect your skin whilst moisturising.
  • Give your skin a boost with Vitamins: What we eat really has an effect on our skin, antioxidants aid skin cell repair and rejuvenation. Avocados are a power fruit that work wonders, rich in healthy fatty acids and antioxidants which are vital for skin health.
