Their life together may seem to revolve around jet-setting, celebrity parties and work commitments in glamorous locations, but there's another priority which Elton John and David Furnish also share.
On a trip to Canada this week the Rocket Man singer's Toronto-born partner revealed that despite their high-profile lifestyle the pair like nothing better than catching up with their nearest and dearest when they're back on David's home turf.
"We like to spend time visiting my family. My brothers, my brothers' kids," the 46-year-old tells HELLO! exclusively. "We don't have kids of our own and they're great kids, and we don't get to see enough of them."
The filmmaker's native land has always been popular with Elton says David. "He actually spent a lot of time here before he met me. He's recorded albums here."
David and Elton's fondness for family was revealed by David as he and the musician visited the Toronto animation studio which is handling their new movie Gnomeo & Juliet. The pair joined Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty at an event to announce a $23 million funding boost for the 3D animation house.
