On or off? Britney Spears' romance under the spotlight amid infidelity claim

by hellomagazine.com There are conflicting reports currently doing the rounds about Britney Spears' love life.

This week the pop star was spotted out and about with newly dyed dark locks - a symbol of her blossoming romance with Jason Trawick according to some, or a sign their relationship is on the rocks if you believe others.

According to some accounts, Britney's man, 38, is on the verge of proposing to the singer and has even spoken to her ex-husband Kevin Federline to get the all-clear.

"Jason not only professed his love for Britney, he told Kevin he absolutely adores his two sons," a source has revealed.

"Jason acknowledged that Kevin will always be the boys' real dad, but respectfully asked his blessing as a future co-parent.

"Kevin couldn’t be happier, he trusts Jason. The guys agreed to be in close touch – and Britney's thrilled knowing she's now one step closer to her goal of marrying Jason and living happily ever after."

However, if conflicting reports are to be believed, the 28-year-old's dreams of a fairytale ending have hit a bump.

According to the Mirror, Britney and her agent love, who started dating in June 2008, are on a trial split after the mum-of-two allegedly discovered he had been cavorting with two women at an LA bar.

Ella Davis, who says she was at the Roger Room at the same time said: "Jason left the bar with two bottles of water – and a stunning girl who looked like Britney did five years ago."

"He had his arms around her and they looked extremely comfortable in each other's company."

It is reported that the mum-of-two checked into a five star hotel and turned her phone off upon hearing the news, and called her mum who flew from Louisiana to be with her.

"This isn’t the first time Britney has been let down by a man in her life," a source told the paper.

"LA is a small town for those in the know and Jason's antics didn’t take long to filter through to her… Everyone is assuming it's over – for the time being anyway. It is very sad."
