Is Adele preparing to leave Britain for sunnier climes? According to British tabloid reports, the Skyfall songstress is planning to buy a home in Los Angeles after being convinced to have a permanent US base by celebrity pals Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field.
The talented singer-songwriter, 24, is said to be considering splitting her time between the UK and the US as she focuses on both her family and work away from the spotlight.
"Adele can see the benefits of bringing up a child in the US," a source told the Mirror. "They can be outside, enjoying the weather and loving life out of the spotlight.
"Adele and her man SImon are looking at a pad in one of the exclusive gated communities of Beverly Hills, because Robbie and Ayda have told Adele that they would be able to have enough land not to feel too trapped and she could have the privacy she so desperately needs to enjoy life."
The Grammy-winner is estimated to have earned £21million ($32million) in the past year alone, which would enable her to live in luxury with her partner and son. And according to the insider, she could install a studio in her new home and not have to worry about being away from her beloved baby boy Angelo while working on her next album.
Adele already has two homes in the UK, one in Notting Hill, West London, and the second in Hove near Brighton. Around the awards season, she reportedly spent more than a month living in a rented house in California with Angelo, five months, and Simon.
Meanwhile, it is also being reported that the mum-of-one has been offered a lucrative deal to become the face of a cosmetics brand. The in-demand star is said to have been tempted to accept the $10million deal on the table - but it remains to be seen whether she takes the money.
In a 2011 interview, she famously said, "It's shameful when you feel out. It depends what kind of artist you want to be, but I don't want my name anywhere near another brand".
