Kate Middleton 'tends to pick out items herself' for Prince George

Prince George looked super cute in his official Christmas pictures, but we know the tot is too young to pick out his own clothes. Leave that task to his equally fashionable mom, Kate Middleton.

Kate personally selects the 17-month-old’s outfits and for this, she enlisted the help from the Amaia Kids boutique in London. HELLO! Fashion spoke exclusively with Amaia Perso, co-owner of the shop where Kate visited and picked up the navy corduroy shorts and socks for the pictures.

"She is really lovely and a pleasure to help," explains Amaia. "She knows exactly what she likes and wants for her son and tends to pick out the items herself."

Amaia is thrilled and “truly honored” that Kate picked items from her store. She didn’t realize until she found them in HELLO! US’ sister publication in the UK. She first saw the pictures while running errands. She says, "While I was out food shopping on Sunday (and) I caught sight of the front cover of HELLO! magazine!"

Amaia Kids has tons of celeb fans including Victoria Beckham, Kate Hudson and Claudia Schiffer, and will be celebrating its 10th anniversary next year.

"We are a small London-based brand and out of all the brands she could have chosen, she came to us,” the co-owner stated. “We are really grateful to her for supporting small businesses like ours and most of all, we are delighted that she likes our pieces."

The ensemble was perfect for George's first solo portrait

Now that the world has seen George looking adorable in his outfit – which also featured a cute blue London Guards sweater vest by Cath Kidston and Start-Rite Jo First Walking Shoes – all items are naturally in high demand. So much so, that Amaia Kids is replenishing its stock of the navy corduroy shorts, which will be available again soon.

Even George has the magic touch when it comes to clothes selling out.
