Bruce Byron's character in The Bill, DC Terry Perkins, is known as the cop who never gives up. And the London-based actor seems to share his onscreen's persona's dedication as his road to the top was strewn with obstacles. Bruce says he was rejected by all of Britain's major drama schools before he finally got his break in the mini-series Daylight Robbery. His big screen outings include Gregory's Two Girls, The Mummy Returns and From Hell with Johnny Depp.
