Newcomer Kerrie Hayes credits her elder sister with setting her on the path to her future career. The young actress was inspired to sign up for drama classes after her sibling got into acting when the pair were at school. While her sister lost interest, Kerrie carried on, however, and eventually landed her first professional job when, aged 19, she was cast in BBC drama Lillies. And the future looks bright for the Liverpool lass who has been tipped for future stardom after her masterful portrayal of headstrong youngster Ruby in the post-WWI drama. She"s already made her big screen debut - in 2007 British comedy Sparkle - and has more movie outings in the pipeline.
