Born in Camden, London, Olivia Haigh Williams spent two years studying drama at Bristol's Old Vic Theatre School after graduating from Cambridge with a degree in English literature. She went on to join the Royal Shakespeare Company and toured the US in Richard III alongside Ian McKellen in 1995. Her first TV appearance came the following year with the role of Jane Fairfax in the made-for-TV production Emma. She got her big screen break in 1997 when she was cast alongside Kevin Costner in The Postman and two years later was sharing the screen with an equally high profile lead when she played Bruce Willis' wife in The Sixth Sense. Other movie credits include 1998's Rushmore, and Mrs Darling in Peter Pan. In 2003 the British film The Heart Of Me, which also starred Paul Bettany and Helena Bonham Carter, earned her a British Independent Film Award. London-based Olivia is married to American stage actor Rhashan Stone, with whom she has two children - Esme Ruby and Roxana May.
