"I never planned on being an actor," says Richard Coyle, who caught the acting bug while studying politics at York University. Now one of the most recognised faces on British TV, the Yorkshireman made his name in the hit series Coupling. Despite early success on the big screen with a cameo in Human Traffic and, later, The Libertine opposite Johnny Depp, Richard has mainly kept to TV work, including the title role in the BBC series Strange. He met his wife, actress Georgia Mackenzie on the set of ITV's Up Rising. "We played a couple who get together at the same time that we got together in real life," he recalls. "It's great. Whenever we need a potted history of our relationship, we have something to watch on the video."
