After making her professional acting debut in gritty 1986 comedy Rita, Sue And Bob Too - a film which went on to become a cult classic - Lancashire lass Siobhan Finneran has barely been out of work. Frequently called upon to portray comic characters with a northern lilt, the actress has had small parts in some of the UK's most popular screen shows, including Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Casualty and Dalziel And Pascoe. She's also had notable roles in Manchester-set drama Clocking Off, Supermarket comedy The Amazing Mrs Pritchard and Spain-set holiday adventure Benidorm. The raven-haired actress, who made the transition to the big screen with award-winning British indie flick Boy A, lives on the Lancashire moors with her Heartbeat actor husband Mark Jordan. The couple wed in 1997 and have two children, Joseph and Poppy.
