Born: March 20, 1959
Actor
Famous for: Throwing his weight around in Albert Square

A household name in the UK thanks to his role as EastEnders bully-boy Phil Mitchell, the inimitable Steve McFadden has become one of Britain's best-loved anti-heroes. In reality the father of two is rather more sophisticated than his onscreen persona, having graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts. Early TV credits include guest appearances in Bergerac and Minder, plus a 2000 stint on Murder In Mind. After a break of two years he returned to his Albert Square role in 2005.
