Prince Harry has been giving us travel envy as he tours the Caribbean

Antigua and Barbuda

antigua

Famed for its reef-line beaches, rainforests and colourful villages, it comes as no surprise that this beautiful country was Harry's first stop during his trip. The Prince visited key landmarks including Nelson's Dockyard, as well as spending time with locals and showing off his sports skills at the Youth Sports Festival. If you're after a more relaxed schedule than Harry's, head to the luxurious four-star Sugar Ridge Resort LTD. Located on a hillside it boasts breathtaking scenic views – not to mention it has first-class facilities from a spa to an outdoor pool where you can soak up some sunshine!

St Kitts and Nevis

During his stay at this two-island nation, Harry learned about local projects including those on conservation, and even released nestled turtles into the wild when he visited Lover's Beach. Prince William's younger brother also proudly unveiled the St. Kitts and Nevis dedication to the Queen's Canopy at Central Forest Reserve National Park in St. Kitts.

Nevis continues to be a firm A-lister favourite with stars including Beyoncé and Sarah Jessica Parker – and with its stunning beaches and landscapes, it's no wonder. Make the most of the breathtaking surroundings by heading to Paradise Beach Nevis, the only beachfront villa resort on the island. Consisting of seven thatched-roof villas with private pools, the resort has everything you could ask for including a butler service and even on-beach spa treatments

St Lucia

Prince George's uncle made sure to stop off at St Lucia, where he enjoyed a day out at the cricket. There he took part in an exhibition match, showing off his batting skills and cheering on his teammates from the sidelines. Harry's visit was short but sweet, but if you're planning a longer stay there are countless rainforest trails, waterfalls, reef-diving sites and volcanic beaches to visit. Head to the north of the country to Rodney Bay and stay at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort, a colonial-era style hotel that offers direct access to the dazzling Reduit Beach.

St Vincent and The Grenadines

St Vincent is renowned for embodying idyllic, exotic island life, so it comes as no surprise that Harry explore its gorgeous forests and beaches during the fourth leg of his royal tour. St Vincent boasts incredible white sand beaches, so you'll want to head for an ocean-side resort such as the four-star Tamarind Beach Hotel & Yacht Club, where you can enjoy stunning sea views and enjoy relaxed evenings eating local delicacies at one of the beach restaurants.

Grenada

grenada

As he stopped over in Grenada, Harry spent the night at the Spice Island Beach Resort, run by Sir Royston Hopkin and his family. This five-star resort boasts everything from luxurious accommodation to top-class cuisine and spa facilities, so it comes as no surprise that Harry spent the day taking a well-deserved break from his hectic schedule before attending a reception in the evening. Nicknamed 'the spice isle', Grenada is famous for growing spices including nutmeg and mace, cinnamon, ginger – so foodies will definitely want to explore local markets!

Barbados

barbados

Harry's trip coincided with the country's 50th anniversary of independence celebrations, but the royal also made time to visit charities and organisations addressing a wide range of issues affecting the region. If you're heading to Barbados and want the perfect balance between exciting nightlife and soaking up the best of the island's nature, Mango Bay could be the place for you. This four-star hotel consists of a series of colourful buildings overlooking the beach, and you can even enjoy outdoor dining under the stars with live entertainment.

Guyana

Princess Charlotte's uncle will conclude his royal tour in Guyana, which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary of independence. Harry is set to explore the Hinterland and discover how eco-tourism and conservation efforts have changed the lives of locals. Royal enthusiasts will want to stay at the Cara Lodge in Georgetown which has hosted members of the royal family from Prince Charles to King Edward VII.
