The always-opulent interior of 900-year-old Windsor Castle has been made even more spectacular for Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles' wedding reception, being held in the lavish Grand Reception room.
Thousands and daffodils, lilies and other softly-hued springtime blooms have been arranged throughout the venue, with three rooms in total prepared for the gala. Also bedecked with flowers is the Grand Staircase, the spectacular St George's Hall and the Waterloo Chamber, where guests will sample an array of exquisite canapes and listen to speeches in honour of the newlyweds.
In St George's Hall, hundreds of crystal flutes await the guests, who will be met with a celebratory glass of bubbly upon their arrival. As they mingle in all three venues, the exclusive invitees will toast the bride and groom as the Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker Bowles fete their first hours as husband and wife.
