With her head respectfully covered in a delicate white veil, Spain's Princess Letizia cut a particularly striking figure in Abu Dhabi recently.
Reminiscent of beautiful Jordanian Queen Rania, the mum-of-two and her husband Felipe visited the Sheikh Zayed mosque – the eighth largest in the world – during their first visit to the United Arab Emirates capital.
Letizia, widely considered to be one of the most fashionable royals, was on elegant form in a chic white trouser suit and blue shirt.
With respect for tradition, she covered her head in a white shawl, and, like her husband, removed her shoes before entering the place of worship.
The princess and Felipe arrived in the Emirates on January 16, primarily to attend a world energy summit and to help promote Spanish culture in the region.
