Miles away from the awkward, rather diffident girl she once was, Beatrice has blossomed into a confident and beautiful young woman who has succeeded in forging her own fashion path.
She even managed to laugh off unkind comments about the unusual Philip Treacy headgear she wore to the royal wedding, having the last laugh by auctioning it off for a five-figure sum in aid of children's charities.
Like most women in the public eye, she receives help with her wardrobe, often visiting the Selfridges' in-store personal shopping service for guidance.
And she has been spotted on the front row at Issa shows, one of the Duchess of Cambridge's favourite fashion labels.
But there's another reason she's blossomed and that's love. Her relationship with Virgin employee Dave Clark is rock solid and gives her the boost that comes from knowing you're adored.
The night before the Prince William's nuptials, the 22-year-old attended the Queen's pre-wedding dinner looking nothing short of fabulous.
She dazzled in a white and silver sequin-adorned sheath dress, the lovely pale hue setting off her auburn tresses to perfection.
But the outfit that has really helped to put the princess on the sartorial map is the magenta creation that she wore to the Chelsea Flower Show.
The capped-sleeve, figure-fitting Roland Mouret frock showed off her newly-toned figure – courtesy of her marathon training from the year before and £65-per-hour training sessions with personal trainer Nadya Fairweather.
But it was the finishing touches that added the wow factor.
The on-trend nude heels with matching clutch bag perfectly complemented the purple hues of the dress, giving Beatrice her most fashion-forward look to date.
