The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have officially kicked off their 11-day tour of Canada and the US.
Greeted by the Canadian High Commissioner to the United Kingdon, the royal couple arrived at London's Heathrow Airport to begin their first overseas tour as a married couple.
The Cambridges were all smiles as they boarded a Royal Canadian Air Force plane.
Thursday's trans-Atlantic flight was especially exciting for Kate as this is her first time travelling to North America.
The Duchess was smartly dressed for the occassion in a fitted navy Roland Mouret dress and a £579 Smythe blazer reminiscent of the military-inspired ensemble she wore to honour Irish soldiers earlier this month.
She accessorised with blue court shoes and a £895 Mulberry handbag.
William and Kate are scheduled to take part in the Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa soon after landing.
