Royal support for 'Dancing On Ice' star Chemmy

With a little help from royalty, Chemmy Alcott impressed the Dancing On Ice judges on Sunday.

Her close pal Zara Phillips and husband Mike Tindall were in the audience wearing ‘Vote Chemmy’ t-shirts to cheer on the Olympic skier.

They clapped and whooped enthusiastically as she took to the ice.

The presence of the Queen’s granddaughter had a positive effect – Chemmy received a score of 20.0 from the judges which is her highest to date.

Zara became friends with Chemmy after they were introduced by a mutual sponsor a few years ago.

The Tindalls TV appearance comes after Mike revealed he was wearing invisible braces on his wedding day.

The England rugby player has Invisalign braces which are which so discreet that nobody noticed he was wearing them.
