Eyebrows were raised when it was announced that they were moving in together, with royal watchers suggesting Prince Carl Phillip of Sweden’s girlfriend Sofia Hellqvist wasn't in the typical mould of princely girlfriends.
But the former glamour model fitted right in with all the European aristocrats at the christening of Princess Victoria's daughter Estelle on Monday.

It was a proud occasion for her boyfriend who had been asked to act as godfather to his sister's child and Sofia didn't let him down.
Her elegant nude shift gown with its waterfall feature and matching headress were perfect.
And the royal sweetheart even seemed to have colour-coordinated with her boyfriend's family, sporting exactly the same hue as Victoria and overjoyed grandmother Queen Silvia.
She arrived with Princess Madeleine's partner Chris O’Neill, a New York based financier who had also been given permission to attend by King Carl Gustaf.
The ceremony gave her the opportunity to mingle with the likes of Mary of Denmark and Belgian Princess Mathilde, who looked stylish in a chiffon dress paired with a capped-sleeve jacquard jacket.
Australian-born Mary had paired her patterned dress with a white coat, elaborate floral fascinator and a Chanel bag.
Meanwhile, Princess Maxima of the Netherlands, known for her daring choices, wore a scarlet ensemble complete with a matching turban and peep-toe platforms.
