The smiling 22-year-old graduated from Newcastle University, picking up her 2:1 degree in English and history of art.
She was awarded her qualification in front of fellow students and their families, and her proud dad Prince Andrew and sister Princess Beatrice.
But since, like her fellow graduates – the royal only got two invitations to the ceremony – her mum Sarah, Duchess of York was absent.
"I am so proud," said the happy youngster after picking up her degree.
"Being up in Newcastle is just amazing. I had so much fun."
"Being in a house with seven girls was my highlight because you'd come back and there was always someone cooking, someone to welcome you.
"That was amazing just being in a house with all these wonderful people."
For now, the young royal will continue carrying out official duties and keep up with her charity work for the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
As for work plans, she said: "I'm a freshly finished student so my future plans are coming together as we speak."
