Princess Maxima of the Netherlands has once again proved she's always keen to get stuck into her royal duties.
And if those duties involve slipping into a wetsuit to swim the canals of Amsterdam, then the vivacious royal is right at the front line.

On Sunday, the Argentina-born blonde shed her finery to take part in the Amsterdam City Swim – a charity event organised to raise funds for those affected by motor neuron disease.
Cheered on throughout by husband Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and their three daughters, an inspired Maxima powered her way through the 2km course in just under an hour.
Little Amalia, eight, greeted her mum with a kiss as she exited the water while sisters Alexia, seven, and Ariane, who is five, looked on.
The girls had every reason to be proud of their mum, whose challenge was made all the more difficult by the quality of the canal's murky depths.
Although not officially declared safe for swimming, the waters are regularly filtered and kept as clean as possible.
Just to be on the safe side though, Maxima wore goggles and a wetsuit to avoid any possible difficulties.
