The fashion kaiser is a firm friend of the House of Grimaldi. He has dressed Charlene's sister-in-law Princess Caroline and her daughter Charlotte Casiraghi for years.
He also took pictures of the striking blonde and husband Prince Albert on the step of palace in Monte Carlo ahead of their wedding.
The pair were attending a Van Cleef and Arpels Exhibition Launch, featuring 400 breathtaking pieces from the jewellery house.
Van Cleef and Arpels is, of course, the company that created Charlene's diamond and sapphire Ocean necklace, which was a wedding gift from her husband intended to reflect her love of water.
